Renegade Dust Exposure – One Simple Technique assists in mitigating the exposure.

Numerous Manufacturing processes have a byproduct of dust. Under certain conditions renegade dust on horizontal objects as seen in the picture below can form a dust cloud resulting in huge loss of property and life.

When we are in a manufacturing facility and recognize they have a dust exposure we show your insured this 1-minute video and then make the following recommendation.

First install bright orange or color contrasting depth markers on the horizonal area where renegade dust exposure is most common. The Color contrast marker should be the depth of a paper clip. Install a security camera over this area and when you can no longer see the contrasting color then have housekeeping vacuum and remove the renegade dust. Do not use compressed air to blow the dust off horizonal objects as this displaces the dust and does not mitigate the exposure.
